Description
China is located in East Asia along the coast. The terrain is mostly mountains, high plateaus, deserts in west; plains, deltas, and hills in the east. China does have a few natural hazards: frequent typhoons, damaging floods, tsunamis; earthquakes, droughts, land subsidence. China is the world's fourth largest country. It also has the worlds highest peak called Mount Everest on the border with Nepal.
